Andoo Member Joined Apr 5, 2010 Messages 318 Points 76 Location Highlands May 5, 2014 #2 Normally the alternator is the problem here. The voltage regulator goes wrong and the alternator overcharges. The headlamp bulbs are normally the first to suffer failure. Have the alternator output checked.

I know people touching the glass can blow bulbs, but it can take hours, not 5 minutes..... Last edited: May 6, 2014
