Really thinking about taking the Doblo to Kaunas, Lithuania. I will be fitting a timing belt kit & water pump first, along with the usual full service.

I have only ever been on two ferry routes in my life, Ullapool to Stornoway and the Southampton to Bilbao.

The first was a doddle, 30 odd vehicles and the second there was a convoy of us so the boss dealt with all the details and I simply followed instructions.

This time, I will be on my own and although I am a grown up (aye, right :p ) I get nervous of stuff that seems complicated.

Anyone done the Dover to Dunkerque route?

Any pics to show me what & where & how?

Imagine you are talking to a complete idiot...speak slowly :D

Its daunting but I'm sure youll be fine, generally you drive to a big entrance which will say ferry to fromage, there'll be a kiosk there and youll show your ticket, they'll say line up in asle whatever and then you just park it there until they wave you onto the ferry. A lot of satnavs even guide you to the kiosk. However don't religiously obey the sat nav as they have been known to guide people down slip ways into the sea, always remember doblos don't float. Good luck.
