Hi,

Still getting ready for MOT day.

Front tyres (Pirelli Cinturato P4) look like they could do with replacing. They've done about 15k; there's a bit of surface cracking to the outer walls and a bit of extra wear in the inside edges of the tread (more severe on the driver's side)

The cracking was probably due to their age/sun exposure and I thought that https://cdn-i.fiatforum.com/images/icons/icon8.gifthe wear on inside edge of the treads was down to incorrect tracking. Had it checked and it's OK.

Any ideas on this?

One thing that I did notice was that the exposed thread there the track rod screws into the ball joint was uneven from side to side (6 turns on the driver's side and 9 on the passenger's).

Does this matter?

Any tips much appreciated

Cheers

Ron

Hi,

Took the Doblo into the local tyre place. Lots of Doblos around here....apparently wear on the inside edge is normal for these motors...so that's Ok.

They tipped the Pirelli P4's so got them to replace the front pair for £109...and that's also Ok now.

Cheers

Ron
