Hi everyone

My 2006 Dobbie has what seems like a common problem - it pulls to the right when accelerating and then to the left when decelerating
I've checked the wishbones, track rod ends , ball joints and there's no play anywhere , but I can feel a definite clunking inside the steering rack boot on the near side track rod when the steering wheel is wobbled but the rubber boot is very rigid so I can't feel how much play there really is.
Track rods are only £15 each from euro parts, so are probably the first thing I will do.
Has anyone changed these - there doesn't look like there is much room and I'm guessing they're tight.
Any tips would be gratefully accepted

If it isn't the track rod ends, it could be the steering control arms (from rack to track rod ends) as I have a Corsa with the exact same fault. Two new arms, twenty one quid....

It shows itself as a clatter/rattle when going over rough surfaces and inner wear on tyre.

My 2007 1.9mj 40k was doing the same as you describe, after replacing the complete near side wishbone/ball joint all was well and the tyre ware on the inside has stopped ?.

Same on my 06 1.3 Doblo (everything has broken on it this year).

Dealer replaced wishbone and ball end, track rod, redid tracking at ATS and it goes in a straight line and doesn't eat tyres any more.
