Hello.Can anybody shed any light on how to remove the gear stick knob on my 06 Doblo please.I have a new gaiter of fleabay and i have to remove the knob to fit the new one.I have read that anything from a special tool is needed to brute force is best.Really worried i will break something,Im the world champion at that. Also is the bottom of the gaiter just clipped in to the centre console.Many thanks .

I dont know, but see if theres any give up or down in the reverse collar and see if theres anything like a nut or wire ring underneath.

I'm not sure either but in my panda,
the lower collar of gaiter is just clipped in , the knob just came off with a good pull.. ; - },

Just an update folks.As said above a good pull sees the knob come off its splines ,try not to twist as i can see that ending in tears,then just a case of clipping the surround off and bobs your teapot.Thanks for your help
