Thanks Pedro, I will try to find out the switch. Last night connect the reader, and yes the crank sensor not working. The curious is ecuscan cannot detect the error after clear the error, even i try to crack 3-4 times. No rpm reading at all and no error at all. I remove connector (cam sensor) and spray with contact cleaner. Error detected and after reset and crank no more error.

if we look to the snap shot, engine running status is running ( but this happen on day one i read with this reader - 1 year ago and engine started). Intake air quantity too much compare to desired. is this normal? On cranking no rpm read, fuel pressure around 200 bar (desired 400??) Battery 12.4++, I know i must try to change battery as when jump it can started (running)..

:confused::confused:

already change to new battery still not working..ooh..

Thanks for your reply fronteratech. Judging by your username I'm guessing you know quite a bit about Fronteras. One of my hidden fears is that if I keep trying to start it without fuel going through, does the Fiat pump suffer similar consequences as the Frontera 2.2 DTi major pump failure because of no fuel going through to lubricate it.
Also please can you advise where I will find the crank sensor. Is there a way of testing or is it a case of replacing and seeing if that works. Thanks for any advice.
Hello Pedro,
Crankshaft sensor or RPM sensor is directly below the starter motor.
