Went to start the doblo today and after power up the electric systems on the dash board went blank and then came back on the mileage was good but clock settings were flashing and oil light stayed on.

Had an oil change 3 months back no issues as I did that myself as always.

Wondering if it could be the battery as I haven't changed the battery since buying the doblo back in 2007.

Any thoughts welcomed.

Seems unlikely to be battery as it came back on again, however it may be a good move to replace it as it is over 5 years (and the supplied batteries aren't all that good). Worth checking the battery connections are sound and oil levels since you mention it, but no idea of the root cause.

Was there ANY PAS movement at the time ?,
it happened ONCE on our '04 panda, outside a FIAT / Alfa indy they plugged it in straight away = no fault was found ,
and it's not done it again in 3 years - still on same battery,

appeared to be a "one-off",
