Hi to all - first time post from me and I hope you don't mind my trying to pick a few brains with a problem as I have picked up plenty of good tips from the forum over the years.

I have an 02 JTD ELX 1.9 - LHD - which has started to stall when I need to do a hill start, does it five or six times before it finally moves forward. Has only a been a day or two that it has been doing it but it is each time I try to pull away on even a slight incline. Other than that seems normal. 130 KM on the clock now.

I have had it for ten years since new, been a really wonderful motor, faultless and cheap - in fact just the other day I was saying how it had never let me down which was tempting fate clearly.

Anyway, any ideas would be very welcome - even if only to help me have a sensible conversation at the garage.
