Sadly 4-car don't know what they are talking about. It is plain that the car in their pictures is almost unchanged; it is sporting the mild facelift due from October 2005 onwards. It appears the front lights, grille and wheel arches are changed, possibly for the bettter.
Not sure what the replacement Doblo will be like in a few years - but it should be built in Turkey which is great since ours is really well screwed together.
see picture below for new nose job:

This latest from AutoScoopsNieuws (pushed through an online translator)

Revealed: Fiat Doblò facelift
These are the very first definite pictures of Fiats facelift Doblò. They were shown during a presentation for investors and on the website Italiaspeed. Although it shows the van, the version for passenger transport will not deviate.

The nose gets a new look, with revised head lamps, grille and bumper. Also the back was taken under hands.

The technical modifications include among others the arrival of new engines. Thus 1.9 the JTD Multijet (120 pk) is introduced, whereas 1.4 16V with 70 pk the instapmotor (?!) become.

The new Doblò would be presented in the course of next month.

*** There was a picture of the new Doblo - it seems apparent that it is a longwheelbase version so I've done a quick cut'n'paste job to show what it will look like as normal length. White is not a flattering colour so I hope it looks better in the flesh! At least it is still satisfyingly ugly. ***

Yes, it does look better in colour. Grille looks quite neat in an Audi TT sort of way. Shame the plastic bumpers no longer wrap around.

Yeah, its got that FIAT 'ugly' look about it - so I'm smitten. Kinda looks like a Berlingo that was slapped round the face at birth :)

Obviously face lifted for more mainstream appeal, a la Multipla/Nouvo Multipla.
Be interesting to know if it'll do better against the Berlingo now in the retail market rather than just the commercial one...
