General 1.9 Diesel questions

Hiya,

after how many miles does the turbo need replacing on the 1.9, and what rpm do they do at 70mph roughly, is it quiet and relaxed?
Wondering if I should switch to diesel.

turbos are lubricated by oil should be ok for over 100k or more if the car is serviced regulary

with all the enhancements in service intervals they can go would say service more regulary

known them last if this is done
