Crunchy sticking gears

Anyone else got sticking crunchy gears on there doblo?

I have an 08 1.3 and its a nightmare and getting worse.

It had a problem when new where the clutch thrust bearing was eating into the pressure plate and cusing a similar problem so I'm guessing this is happening again but not 100%

I therefor wanted to ask here to see if someone else has similar problems before I go and blow yet more cash replacing the clucth un necessarily.

TBH its almost like the syncromesh isn't working, or the clucth isn't fully depressed but its really making driving the van a miserable experience (as the ownership of it has been generally from the start tbh)

Any advise to help resolve would be apreciated, thanks

Re: Crunchy sticking gears

Check/change the gearbox oil.
If the problem is clutch not fully disengaging it would most likely crunch whenever selecting reverse, does it do that?

Re: Crunchy sticking gears

certainly does, and sometimes the rest too!

I've noticed a slight sound outside the van when depressing the clutch so going to make sure nothing is damages around the master brake cylinder or pushrod first.

I'm actually thinking air in the system now, might need bleeding to be sure!

Re: Crunchy sticking gears

Hi,

Did you ever get this sorted out? Does you clutch engage really close to the floor?
Mine does this when the engine is really hot especially in traffic.
