Hi,

I need to replace the wiper blades (2006 High Roof).

Any recommendations?

Cheers

Ron

Hi Ron, I run a Qubo, and have just this week changed my wipers, I purchased a sized set of Iguanas (probably spelt that wrong) off Ebay, cost £14 odd, with free p&p. They arrived within 3 days, and once I'd worked out which of the fitting adaptors to use went on in a couple of minutes.
With all this dry weather we're getting at the moment, I have only used them when I take the car out (LOL), and they sure work well.
Cheers Qube O.

Hi and thanks,

They look the job. £14 on eBay.

I see the Iguana blades (like the Wipex ones) are of the continuous pressure along the blade type of design. This sort of design professes to be a better job than the standard blade design (those with a few point pressure points along the wiper length), but do they actually perform any better and last longer?

Cheers

Ron

Morning Ron, Only time will tell me if this type of blade last any longer than the older type, but they have had a baptism of fire over the last few days, and sure clear the screen well, over the full length of the blade.
Have a good one,
Qube O.

Can we put standard wiper blades into the wiper holder or do we have to buy the complete assembly?
