Hi all,

I have a starting issue with my Doblo 1.3 Diesel 2004

The starter motor works if I put power onto it with jump leads, but wont work when I turn the key.

I can tow start the van.

And bizarly I seem to get a 12v feed on the solenoid, at least some of the time. Jambing the key in the start position. But the solenoid doesn't click and the motor doesn't turn.

Does anyone know the wiring colours from the ignition switch? Or should I be looking elsewhere?

Sounds like either dodgy solenoid or dodgy ignition and I guess you suspect that. Perhaps try feeding 12v to the solenoid manually.
