I have recently purchased a 1.4 Doblo MPV and I have notice the gas pedal is unlike any other car I have owned. The only way I can describe it seems to have a section fixed underneath the pedal.
Is this standard on this modeldel?

I have that on my 1.9 Multijet 120 too. I think that it is the design. The sticking out bit touches the plastic plate under the accellerator pedal when you put your foot down.

I did some research and found the link below, the 1.4 is really quite a clever engine with a fly by wire throttle.
