Doblo 08 1.9 multijet 116k mile now.

I have noticed that my Doblo Taxi is only giving me around 34 mpg (approx 7.9L per 100 kilometers)

Now I have checked with other Doblo Taxi's working in the same town (all high roof like mine) and most are getting 44 to 46 mpg..

Some times I get 44 mpg to 48 mpg per trip of 2 to 15 miles but mostly I get between 32 and 36mpg..

This is not dependant on driving style.. I can drive like a real granddad (drunk passengers feeling sick) and get 32 mpg and thrash between jobs and get 42mpg.

It seemed that I regularly got better MPG if I was not getting the ABS /EBD failure canbus errors.

Since replacing my alternator the canbus errors have cleared up but still I am getting intermittent differences in MPG..

So its looking like a valve that is getting stuck perhaps?

Any suggestions anyone?

could it be that yours is lower mileage than the others
