Hi - My 2008 1.3 Diesel Doblo has got the Glow Plug Fail Light flashing. I have replaced the glow plugs but still happening. Easy to replace by the way! I will now try the glow plug relay as the fault still happens with the fuse removed so guess it could be that. Can anyone tell me where to find the relay and how much a new one will cost? Will I need to buy from Fiat dealer?
How can I check if the relay is faulty?
Thanks for help.
Cheers

Sounds as if you should of tested the glow plug circuit first, however since you asked the first test is to see if the plugs are being heated, simply remove the connector on top of plug and check for supply (when ignition switched on) then we shall take it from there.

Welcome to FF:)

Hi - I have checked the voltage.
When ignition is switched on there is a 0.47V going to each plug.
I can also hear a continual clicking noise when the engine cover is removed with the ignition on.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Thanks.

Mine doesn't make a clicking noise so it could well be the relay.

Thanks for thr reply. There is definetly no 12 volts in the cold and straight after the ignition turned on so should I assume thet the relay is at fault?

Hi - I have changed the glow plug relay and problem is still there. I have checked continuity between the glow plag relay plug and all the glow plugs and that is all fine. I also have a 12v supply going to the glow plug relay. Any idea where to go next?

I've got same problem checked relay 12 volt got 22 volt to plug cap but plug will not heat up tried new plugs but nothing.
