Technical Doblo rear lock issue again?

Just a bit of help really please guys?

Ive got a Doblo Van twin doors on a 52 plate. The back lock does not work? You can lock/unlock it with the key but makes no difference at all and does not lock?

Ive had a quick look tonight with a torch and it seems there may be a rod missing that attaches to the barrel?? Any ideas guys??

Ive found a lot of posts on here relating to the lock being stuck etc but nothing on the lock not operating locking or unlocking? I may be missing a bar on the lock?

There are 2 rods from barrel one going to top other bottom, they connect to a round cylinder secured to barrel by a 3mm allen screw......see it?

Hi from Switzerland.
Was browsing for audio solutions when I saw your lock problem. This morning I sorted the very same thing on my Doblo!
I had to strip the panel off the back door, the interior pull up handle has a small circlip which is a bit fiddly to get off ,also make sure it does not ping off or you will need to buy another. once you have the panel off! remove the black plastic section near the lock. look inside you will see a pin with a tentioned spring, spray it with wd40 and move back and forth with a screw driver.The outside handle moves this so you will see the action.
make sure its really free, as I did it a few weeks ago and it went back to square one.hance today attempt.
