Hi ,complete novice question but is the Doblo Family available in a 1.9jtd and a 1.9 multijet ? what's the difference in non technical jargon ? ie: what's the most reliable for a low mileage user .We only do a max of 5k a year around town and occasional motorway journey , Is the DPF going to make either Doblo an unreliable vehicle [we need an occasional six seater ],would the petrol version be a good alternative ? thanks in advance , calum/leeds

Hi

Good thinking for checking first!

In my opinion, DPF+mainly town driving = potential issue.

If you want a diesel, maybe go for a 105BHP, or older 120BHP, neither of which should have a DPF. (Please check first though before you buy.) Otherwise go for petrol, with the obvious penalty on economy.

Petrol for sure, remember that petrol is a few pence cheaper than diesel so although diesel is better on fuel the difference does drop a bit due to petrol being cheaper.
I understand that the majority of Doblo's run on heavy oil but there seems to be far less issues with the petrol models!
