Hi

Well i decided to do my first oil change the otherday which was a doddle.
Question is im fairl new to engines, and would appreciate anyone who can post some pics or a quick guide on how to change the spark plugs.

Doblo cargo 1.3 diesel, multijet, 06 reg

Well I suggest you look it up on wikipedia or similar.

Diesels are compression engines and they basically compress the fuel/air mixture in chamber enough that it combusts itself. I would also suggest that if you dont know the difference between a petrol engine and a diesel you should not be considering doing DIY work at all on vehicles ... go and learn the technology first.

Diesel engines do, however, use something called glow plugs. But you'll only need to change these if you have trouble starting the engine from cold as they pre-warm the block to aid initial combustion. As stated, check it out on wikipedia or a website called 'how stuff works' (can't remember the exact URL). (y)
