Hi, i am a new driver and bought my first car earlier this month (Doblo Family 1.3, 54 reg). Life was great for two weeks til the car started smoking too heavily to drive. As it is still under warranty has gone to the dealers garage who said it was a compressor problem and would take ages to fix.

Can anyone give me an idea how serious this is, and now I'm worried that I may have been sold a dud, or is this just one of those things and when fixed should be good for a fair few years.

Hi, not sure. Its whatever sorts the mix between diesel and air.

The mechanic said it would take 14 man hours.
