Hi everyone

I have a 2001 Doblo and I have a problem with one of the front side windows. Today I was out and I pushed the button to lower my window but it fell forward and stopped working.

The motor is fine but the little plastic catch on the sliding mechanism has broken off and won't go up and down in the groove.

Can you buy this part on it's own AND is this the only problem or has something else caused it to pop off like the mechanism not working properly?

Thanks for any advice.
Scott

Hi mate, not sure if I'm talking about right part, but there is a clip attached to the rear of the window glass that slides in a channel in upright of door. These are availbale from any main dealer only a few quid, get two incase you break the first and common problem, they have a push pin in them that locates through glass. Easiest way is to pull the rubber seal out of the door where the clip runs, allows access, before fitting clip check the guide in door as the edge can break off and the new clip will just drop out again when it gets to that part. From memoray the tracks no longer available seperately it comes as part of the window rubber, hope this is some help,John.

Hi, I have had the same problem, and my drivers side window smashed. I had a guy come out to replace it. When doing it he fixed it but the window kept dropping out of the guide at the side and falling forward. It turns out it was the groove at the side of the door that the plastic thing connected to the top of the window slides up and down on has broke.
So.... Does anyone know what this part is called, the guide, runner, rail or what ever its called or where to order it from, as I am having a nightmare trying to describe it to anyone.

Please help.

Thanks
Les

Les1466 and Liftex, thank you so much for leading us in the right direction. We replaced the regulator but the widow keeps falling. Our question is, and I’m really hoping you can help, once we get the replacement window track clip how do you install it?
Thank you!!!

I had the same. Went with an almighty bang.

It was the white plastic guide that pins into a small hole in the rear edge of the window.

I did mine by removing the window surround rubber seal, clipped the new guide in place on the rear edge of the window glass with the microscopic plastic pin, (fiddly) I also taped a piece of cloth in place to catch the pin if it fell out of my hands, which it did.

I then refitted the rubber seal, guiding the clip into its slot. Easier if there are 2 of you as you need to guide the window up and down gradually tapping the window switch a bit at a time.

I also sprayed some wd40 in the running groove of the seal to lubricate the slot.
