Just wondering if I'm the only one with rusted runners on the sliding doors? My 08 plate 1.9L Dynamic (120) is only just coming up to its 3rd birthday but the lower runner on the driver side sliding door is really quite rusty. I'm taking it in tomorrow for the dealership to look at and fingers crossed it's covered by the 3rd year dealer warranty.

Any thoughts? Is this normal etc?

My 2002 Doblo has a little rusting on the door runners, although I have rubbed down the rust and treated it. I gave the channels a few coats of hammerite and then greased them.

Well I've got no rusting at all on the passenger side, but what looks like lots on the driver's side. Took it to the dealer this morning and the guy there said it wasn't actually rust, but a rust coloured powder that could just be pressure washed off. I think he's talking rubbish personally, but they're going to try to claim on the warranty anyway and see what happens. When that's declined, I'll let you know how much they want from me to fix it and we can all have a good laugh about it.
