hi im new to the site, i have a 54 plate doblo 25k ex mobility but now used as a taxi which has an oil leak, mechanic has advised that the bearings in turbo are gone therfore i need a new turbo, car still has full power, no whining noise or black smoke coming from it, have been told from numerous people car wouldnt move @ full power if turbo need replaced im now very confused, dont know if to take mechanics advice or is he tryin to rip me off as im female who probably doesnt have a clue (which i dont) any advice would b much appreciated thanx

oh that sounds like a ripper. obv if you got power there is nothing wrong with turbo and since when do turbos make oil leaks??

it could be something as simple as a gasket set.

best thing i do with my doblo is get advice fromt he people who make the bloodly thing then find the cheapest place to get it done.

where exactly is the oil leak do you know?

mechanic says oil is not getin into turbo thefor the bearins are gone but propelors r still workin but will not last long, i dont know much bout cars but everybody i talk 2 says the same as u, thanx so much for your reply much appreciated,
