Hi everyone my first post so a quick hello to you all basically im picking up my 04 jtd doblo tomoz and am just wondering who is the best for a remap and what i can expect as far as performance goes i would rather a remap than a tuning box as find all there claims hard to believe but any advuce would be greatly appriciated as never had nothing to do with these or really any diesel tuning to be honest thanks in advance

If you do some searching on the forum there are loads of threads regarding both remaps and tuning boxes. Dont discount a tuning box though. I (On my Grande Punto) and many others on here have them, mostly a TMC box (www.tmcmotorsport.com). They are also a trader on here so you will probably get a discount. Their products are great and their customer service is second to none.
After fitting the tyning box to my range the difference was great to be honest but thrn i have nothing to compare it to as cars that have been mapped were totaly different i just cant see them being as good as a custom map so im guessin by what ive read that the doblo ecu must be mapable or di you have to buy a piggyback ecu or what sorry if stupid question but new to these thanks people
Well I obviously cant speak for what difference it makes to a Doblo but the difference in performance on my GP is great. My car is only the 1.3 MJet (75 BHP) so is never going to be a rocket but with the box the perfomance is much improved. Overtaking is a breeze now. I would recommend.
the 1.9JTD doblo engine is very softly tuned giving great scope for tuning by any method.
