Hi all

Just after some opinions please.

My under tray (on my car!) has 2 missing fixings and another that works loose.

Is an under tray of any real benefit, or should I just take it off?

Thanks.

LEAVE IT ON LEAVE IT ON!

i had mine missing for 2 years and its caused so many problems with the excess amount of weather and traffic **** getting deep in there.

nearly everything that was serviceable and or removable had had to be replaced.

the alternator and all the pully system got most of the damage.

them deep puddle curb crawls dont help.

i spent 4 month sourcing a second hand one as i would not pay the fiat prices.

BEST THING I EVER DID.

regards to the fixings i have many missing and i suggest heavy duty tie wraps and just drill and tie wrap everywhere. there pretty cheap and dont take as long to remove as all the bloody bolts and can easily be replaced.. mine have many and four bolts only.

Hope this helps.

Keep the undertray at all cost. Made a big mistake with my previous ride by
taking out the undertray to make it looks cool.
Spent tons of repair work as my beltings keep getting busted after few days
of driving in the rain.
Do not make the same mistake.

My Doblo obviously hasn't had it's undertray for years, a long time before I got it.
I think the sump has rusted because its not there as has the power steering pulleys and also some obscure electrical faults.
Can I get one from the scrappies, no chance, perhaps I should have a rake in the Skips of the Fiat dealers!
