My steering wheel looks like it has some kind of skin disease, mainly the top section between 11o/c and 1o/c - the bit I never touch (although it does get most sun?).
I've seen one on ebay but it says 'clip type' ? whatever that means, but there are similar wheels for other fiat models which have the airbags included.

What other models' wheel will fit the doblo?
Also, how easy is it to remove the existing wheel & airbag malarky?

i agree with johnhififan,

ive got a similiar issue and use a cover, never looked back.

remove my airbag?? NEVER!

Got a very plain one in Asda £5.00,makes all the difference, very comfortable as well and if you don't like it not a lot of money!:)

I debated the cover thing - but would this not move slightly on the wheel as you turn it?
The other thing is, whatever the problem with the wheel is, won't it continue to deteriorate underneath the cover - and maybe become dangerous?

No it does not move and neither does wheel get worse! Going back to a normal wheel is awful.

Nothing wrong with a nice cover. I put one on four years ago when i bought the Doblo. Still good and nicer to grip than the original surface.(y)
