I suspect that my fan resistor is kaput ( no heater fan in any speed) so I've ordered a new one from Fiat (£24) however I cannot seem to disconnect the old one from the male plug,does anybody know if the can fuse together,the resistor itself looks in pretty poor condition,I just don't want to break the plug!I am looking forward to warm as toast driving and a clear windscreen soon.

i love heater resistors as you retreive it out of its housing you'll notice that on one side it will have a retaning tag holding the two parts together you'll have to put a flat blade screw driver in & forceably prise a part .
but with replacing three in as many weeks i still got warm air on num 4.
so iam looking at the wiring over the weekend whens a little warmer ,to work on it in the cold outside.
hope you dont go giddy taking out & replaceing:bang: a torch is very usefully.
