anyone have alternative part numbers for the 1.9 multijet diesel they seem to cost average £60 which seems expensive any OEM alternatives

payed £16 for mine but i'm in the trade.

Word of warning, try to avoid the filter with a 'chimney' on top which looks to be blanked off by a black plastic plug. The theory doing the rounds is that any water in the fuel will expand in the cold weather (when it freezes), forcing the plastic bung out, this will result in fuel being pumped out of the top of the filter!
