My eyes are wide open to the world of Doblo my hubby was a retired Honda technician so i know my way round quite well Fiat is a strange product to me for now till we become better Known to each other.

My sons Doblo van 89,000 starts and drives as sweet as a nut eml comes on and engine stalls this is always around town /local on motorway there is no problems as soon as we drive at lower speed up and down the gearbox the fault occurs it is reset by turning off the ignition and restarting until x amount of kilometers are covered and you have to reset as above still no fault on motorway driving bought a cheap code reader nothing stored . my friend tried his tablet tester and got a code of p0252 rotary sensor fault but am not sure how pump could be at fault due to how smooth it runs ticks over.
Any ideas please looked at other threads but none specific to precise description of our fault.

Horrible Lucas fuel pump that even they cant fix properly.....if you can trade it in if not expect a huge repair bill. Sorry.

Unfortunately my 2003/53 1.9D SX Dobbie is also dying with the same fault. It will be making its final journey to the car auction on Friday despite having 12 months MOT. At this rate the 1.9D will be extinct in a couple of years time. :-(

I always advise folk to get the 1.9turbo JTD version, avoid non-turbo...its a dodo!
