I am trying to replace the alternator drive belt on my 1.2 diesel doblo 56 reg. Have to first remove the power steering belt which does not have a tensioning device as far as I can see. Could just undo pulley bolts and wrestle it off and on. Am I missing something? The power steering belt is annotated "stretchy belt"! but how stretchy.
Anyone replaced these belts before?

May have solved this. Have spoken to friendly Fiat garage. There is no tensioning device for the power steering belt. The belt is stretched on and the preferred way of removal is to cut it! Thought I might try removing the pulley to take the tension off. However, if it stretches on perhaps it will stretch off.
