Hi got a 03 doblo in today 220k on the clock 1.9jtd
It wont start so done the basics with no joy. No diesel getting to the injectors. So plugged it in and got the following
P1320 codes
Timing/revs sychronization
P0380
plate heating/thermostart relay
Got the autodata manual out and nothing listed. only having worked on a few fiats im not that up to date with them..


4th gear
Wont go into 4th with the engine running. Is this a common fault and are boxes best to repair or replace when they do this.

Any and all advice greatly welcome
 
how did you check for fuel at injectors?

P1320 could be crank sensor (likely) or cam sensor, basically the sensors are reading differently hence out of 'synch' error. Has timing belt been changed recently?

Wouldn't bother with P0380
 
Did a leak of test and nothing then out of desperation cracked a injector pipe of and stood well back and again no fuel present. We can get it to fire and sort of keep it running with brake cleaner via the air intake and engine sounds ok. Dont know about timing belt change but i belive it was running up till yesterday

Hi how did you get hold of a code reader? would be keen to get a recurring engine fault light checked out, it tends to go out before i get round to taking it in.

Hi without blowing me own trumpet im **** hot with a ciitrooen c5. But fiats are a mystery even though they both come from thr same nursery so to speak We use snapon for our diagnostic. At first we used the various which is a total waste of 5k and does nothing. next we uused the solus pro half the price and twice as gooid
But still at a dead e
 
Yep clear the code of and crank it and the code reapears. Have checked cam and crank sensors with multi meter and both seem fine, ( only 3 years using diagnostic gear so still learning ). Starting to get the story with this doby now. It was parked up 6 months ago with a gearbox fault (not going into 4th). it was jump started last sunday and been told it fired straight up. Anyway it broke down on the way to us so decided to get it running 1st. if we use brake cleaner up the air intake it will run and get it ticking over so that rules the valve/piston timming out or have i got it wrong
