Hi,

I realise this answer comes a bit late but in a spare moment I've scanning through the forum and think I might be able to help you.

Did you renew the engine thermostat? When they fail it tends to be open so that in colder weather the engine doesn't get warm enough to give a decent heat in the cabin.

After an engine overheat it is always worth changing the thermostat.

Cheers J

Hi thanks for replying found out it was the water pump had pump and timing belt and kit fitted for £250 works fine now still no luck with the window though.
