Hi, just bought my first Italian 2 seater, a 1.9 53 plate Doblo van. The problem I have, if I try to start the engine after the pre heater light has gone out, the engine starts but it wont rev up, it just stays at idle.

If I just turn the key and start it up without waiting for the light to go out, it runs fine.

Has anyone come across this problem before and could offer some advice.
