My Doblo Cargo will sometimes drive for 5 miles and stop and at other times 20 miles and stop, I then have to wait whilst trying to start the engine 5 - 15 minutes and then we are off again, any ideas please

rear of engine, need ramps. have you had the coses read at all?
all my local garages seem baffled by the engine, my local Bosch specialist ? wants to remove the injector pump and send it off to be tested,
the one garage that I have some faith in tested for injector leakage and they all looked okay,
the van will start when in dead mode with easystart and then continues to run, the consistent prognosis at the moment is that the high pressure pump is failing when it gets hot

there are three fault codes showing but my garages cannot identify the code with their software

if you know what you are doing then by all means try it yourself, if not take it down the garage.

In terms of software issues IIRC only fiat dealers have Fiat coding software and stuff, outside of them only limited garages have it

Good news, after my local Bosch Service Centre suggested injector pump recon for £1000 I thought the van was going to be scrapped, eventually I decided to take the previous advice from this forum and get a new crank sensor.

Result, £36 for sensor and £30 for fitting, now its sorted, thanks to all that replied to this thread

I had the same problem, had it scanned and found defective crank shaft sensor had replaced an no problems since
