I have just received my car tax reminder for a Doblo Cargo 13.MULTI JET 2004, IT IS £200 but my friend pays £125 because he says it should be Euro 4 light goods vehicle  anyone heard of this, do I qulaify?

Mine's just come through. 1.9jtd CO2 is (apparently) 153G/KM and they want £85.25 or £155.

Now, as I am currently running my car on summer fuel - 2 gallons veg oil plus 8 gallons diesel, will my CO2 emmissions be lower?
(spring & autumn fuel is 1gallon veg/9 gallons diesel & winter is neat diesel - although i do chuck a few litres in every now and then.)

hi, iv just paid £110 for 6 months road tax? is that right

2004 dobbi 1.9jtd
i think they reworked the 1.9 jtd in 2004 so it produced slightly more power 105bhp while reducing emmisions 153 co2 gm/km , yours maybe a sx or elx 100bhp 168 gm/km, this takes you into the slightly higher tax band (166-175co2 gm/km) which is band H, my 1.9 jtd dynamic is band G (151-165) so it costs £155 year or £82.25 for 6 months, i got this info off directgov, just in case you think im some sort of nerdy type smart alec, which im not, in fact the whole car taxing system is well complecated now. regards geoff.

i have just done another check on the directgov website and cross referenced it against wisebuyers data. The data wisebuyers give is as foolows: doblo 2004 petrol 1.2 178 grammes co2 doblo 1.9 jtd elx 2002 168 grammes co2 doblo 1.9 jtd active and dynamic 2004 153 grammes co2 doblo 1.9 jtd family 157 grammes co2 (think family has more weight due 7 seats) thers loads more i could check on different sites ,but it gets a bit boring, hope this helps in some way. regards, geoff.
