I wonder if any one can help. My wife's Doblo ( 2002. 1.9 ELX diesel (non turbo), 78,000miles) is experiencing intermittent starting problems.
It may start ok for several days and then refuse to. As a temporary "get me home solution" a quick squirt of "easy start" or equivalent gets it going.
the battery is good - it turns engine over quickly.
glow pugs and glow plug solenoid have been recently replaced.
Once started the car runs well, no excessive smoke, no excessive oil consumption & no obvious loss of power.
