I recently replaced the diesel pump on my Doblo 2002 1.9 with a second hand one. The key light now won't go out so I can't start it.

From reading through relevant posts on the forum I thought it would be a straight swap, but am now wondering if the pump needs coding to the ecu. Prior to the pump swap the light always went out.

I would be grateful of any advice on this problem.

need code box and keys from same car you got pump from OR bypass the pump.

p.s.I must add that most pumps from breakers are probably faulty (unless car is accident damaged) due to expense of repair.

Thank you for your quick reply. Pump was taken off a low mileage damaged van that was still running, unfortunately the keys etc are no longer available. How do I bypass the pump?
