hello to everyone
just found this forum by accident so thought i would ask for help as u all seem very noligable on the doblo
i bought a 07 plate 1.9 jtd doblo diesel about 6 months ago
just lately the amber engine light has come on but i have lost no power or suffered any loss in fuel consumption or any other effects
today i got chance to get the code reader out and have a look it says it is fault code p0180 fuel temp sensor circuit malfunction
so thats fine i now know what the problem is but the thing i would like to know is were the hell is the fuel temp sensor lol
any help and advice from u kind people will be greatley recieved

I had that code up, deleted it & it hasnt come back in 4 weeks. Like yours, my car was driving perfectly normally. If it comes back I'll investigate further.
 
If it's the same as the Stilo JTD, it's part of the fuel heater device as in this diagram.

Bear in mind that fault code P0180 = Fuel Temperature Sensor A Circuit Malfunction. So the fault could be the sensor or the wiring or connector to the sensor.

hi thanks for the replys
my filter dont look like the one in the pic but next to the filter is a red and yellow wiring plug that is just tucked out the way not fastened to anything and i cant find were it belongs so i wonder if the heater has been removed or just disconected
also would it make any difference to the fuel economy i seem to be doing pretty well for fuel so dont think it could affect it but i bow to the people on here who know a lot more than me about the dobbys
