Technical speaker sizes

I think we can all agree the speakers are........well naff!

Can anyone recommend or has fitted a aftermarket set of better quality. No wanting to spend mega-bucks but need a 'decent' set

Ebays the way
I brought a set of Sony 6x9's less than £20 deliverd!
Made some new covers for the back out of mdf and coverd in black fabric,made a hell of a differance.
Then just bodged some Alfa 156 door speakers behind the dash for a temp solution to the proppa naff fronts!!
But i will make some pods for the front doors in time as the rears ...well theyre far better than the front.

thanks but dont want to go that far and deafing the dogs in the boot

i'll rip one of the front and rear ones out and measure them and grab some kenwoods etc of same size.....i know a bloke who knows a bloke

i put a pioneir headunit in that made a difference but then swoped for a set of jbl gto 6.5" 165mm straight swap left the back ones in as i think thay are ovel shape. thay were £30/40 and make a big difference

hear is the sizes for all
Front Dash Mounted Speakers: 100mm
Front Door Mounted Speakers: 165mm
Rear Window Shelf Speakers: 95x154mm

Standard Cargo versions just have the Dash Mounted speakers.

With regards to three sizes, are there any depth restrictions?

IE, will any of the above 3 sizes fit or can the only be 2 inches deep for example? In the same way is there a restriction between the mounting plate and the door panel / rear side panel etc?

I don't want to have to cut any holes in the panels you see.

Warning Warning, the door speakers are mounted in a steel frame which you could shave with, its that sharp.

I did the lot with standard size speakers, sony 10 cm in dash, sony 165 in doors and the JBL GTO fits fine as a straight swap in back. Makes a big difference.

I'm looking at FLI 4 for the dash, FLI 6 for the doors and PYLE Blue for the back pair as I don't have a huge amount to spend.

FLI seem to get good reviews but unsure about the PYLE blue?

I only got dash mounted ones, need to go down the sub route....plenty of room in a doblo to fit one

I was toying with an under the passenger seat active sub actually but they don't seem to get so good reviews. I need the boot space for carrying stuff.

Plus there's the wiring issues. Not sure I have the patience at the moment!

I keep thinking about putting in a separate power amp thats a good way of getting bass as it would really keep a tighter reign on the speakers. Trouble is its a dash out procedure so cba lol.
