take it no one has the foggyest then????????????
Looks like im screwed any one need some parts lol!!!!!!!

These are your first posts and you leave it 6 hours for a response? thats a response to a post that has no info on the van. Is it petrol/diesel/ turbo/ non turbo etc...... maybe it has a dodgy immobiliser or alarm fitted...............

Does it drive and then cut out, judder a bit, seem down on power? If the garage that has checked it over for you is struggling after seeing the van, the people here will need more info.

Have you done a search on cutting out?

Look at the ignition switch, electrical connections on the pump, more air in the fuel system, airlock in the tank.

hi youll have to forgive my ignarance like you say am new to this site and my knowledge of vehicles is poor to say the least. I appreciate any help or advice which is given thanks.

My van is a diesel none turbo
the van will not drive but does start staionary if you keep the revs on it revs high but as soon as you let the revs off it cuts out? there hasnt been any signs of a problem no noises, smoke etc. it doesnt have an imobiliser just key coded?

I dont know the Doblo well at the moment so someone might correct some of this but that engine will not have any complicated electronics. It also sounds like a fuel/air problem rather than ignition circuit if it runs with the throttle open.

Make sure the aircleaner and and intake side of think is clear, maybe remove the pipe from behind the aircleaner to make sure and try running it again.

After this it can only be fuel so either tank/filter/injectors or pump. To discount the tank/filter you can disconnect the pipe from the filter and run the car off some diesel in a bucket (clean) and see what happens.

thanks for the advice, ive had a new fuel filter put on and the fuel lines flushed the mechanic said the tank was fine?
i realy am at my wits end do you think i should just get it into a fiat garage they have said it will be 154 to put it on the diagnostics n im fearfull of what the cost implacations could be not having any inclanation to what the problem is?

Hi dont know if this will help but when the doblo fuel filter was changed did you fill up the canister and filter with deisel before fitting as sometimes you end up with an airlock so revs are okay as fuel is rushing in but on tick over not enough,if you are like me when i am at my wits end ill try anything reasonable, its worth a try before getting the garage diagnostic done.Good luck and let us know how you got on.
Regards from France Mr B
