got the old cambelt off. cam position apparentley is 7 teeth down from the pointer, and 3 teeth up from the join between the two covers . crank has a notch out of the casing but when in this position the valves hit the piston on turning the engine, am i correct in thinking pump needs no timing? if i go 180 degees on the crank (notch facing up) the engine turns fine, i got these settings out of my mates cambelt book (he's a mechanic). But these settings were for the Marea JTD not the Doblo.

Please can anyone help.

Regards - Geoff.
