Reason being is the brakes are really rubbish, you really have to stand on them to stop. Have fitted new pads and discs, rear shoes look ok.

Anyone changed these before? straight forward or not?

Yeah did a complete brake fluid change and bled them. Ot did feel slightly firmer but does bot feel right.
