Hi,

I have a 2003 Doblo 1.6 fuel that has done about 120.000 kms.

Lately when starting in the morning (I live in a rather cold part of Italy) it is difficult to put the gear in reverse. And shifting gears seems a bit more difficult. Then, when the engine is warm it goes better.

Is there a way to find out what is the problem. I am afraid if I go to a Fiat garage here, they will just tell me it is the gearbox . . .

Hello my friend, sounds like your gearbox is low on oil to me, there is a filling plug on the side, just top it up

Don't know if you found a solution to your problem, but we've just discovered a reverse gear problem on a new Doblo, which proved to be some kind of protective 'device' which had stuck and needed to be freed. Not a major job. Hope you found a solution to your gear problems
