My first post :)

I am the new proud owner of a 1.3 Doblo 54 plate. Love it to bits already! I love the seating position, the driving height ... the list goes on and on - really pleased with every aspect, with no bad points at all.

I started browsing the web in relation to Doblo's, and found this cracking forum - and after reading through every thread realised that the topic of the Adventure has been 'touched' upon - but not really discussed.

I think it looks absolutely stunning kitted out in the Adventure outfit - and would love to throw some money at my Doblo to make it the look the same!

I guess though that this isn't available in this country - with no plans either :(

Anybody on here got experience in dealing with the Italians via email? Any points of contacts??

What about the wheels, sure there would be something similar in this country that would/could be fitted? any thoughts on their dimensions?

I know the topic of roof rails has already been covered - which I have read. But my god, I spent ages with my local Fiat dealership yesterday trying to sort something out ... and still haven't!?

The side steps look cracking too ... again any thoughts on those??

If there is anyone else out here who might be interested in trying to make their Doblo into an Adventure lookalike then drop me a line - and we can pool our efforts :)

Hello,

I have some old memory that this is a Brazil only model, with four wheel drive.

I might be wrong though.

It is only available the Latin American countries, Fiat have a factory in Brazil and they make four wheel drive versions of the Doblo, Idea, Palio, Stilo Multiwagon and Croma. They even have a full size 4x4 built in partnership with VW. They have all the best toys over there.

If you look them up on YouTube you can see them having fun with their Fiats.

As for buying bits for our Doblo's, they are built in Turkey and there is a big modding scene there for Doblo's, so is probably best place to look. Poland is also big into Fiats and they are mad modders as well.

Glad you are enjoying your Doblo I am on my second which is an 08 1.9 Dynamic. So far all I've done is add Wind Deflectors to the front doors, put in rear sunshades and changed the stereo for a USB/iPod unit from Blaupunkt.

Thanks Nottscharger for the info ... I will definitely do some digging in those areas now :)

Hey, Poland not all that far away :) can see a sneaky summer holiday booking coming on with an ulterior motive :) ha!

I sent an email to Fiat yesterday seeking further information on the possibility of inporting such items. Will see if they reply! Will keep you posted !!
