Hi. I have just recently fitted a brand new starter motor for my doblo 1.2 and for some strange reason it will not start. I have checked the starter motor itself and its fine. I have also fitted a new battery as the other was on its last legs and fitted new battery terminals. I have checked all wiring including cleaning the earth connections and checked all fuses but still no action. The engine just doesnt attempt to start. Has anyone any ideas of what else to check? Thanks

have you tried the engine to chassis earth strap....

Hi i am going through the same thing, engine turned over slower the last day or 2, thought battery on way as was 4 yrs old, left van on drive overnite & tried to start this morn just clicking, got new battery no difference, changed starter motor (which has a different conection old 1 had a single terminal with a special plastic isolator that wont fit the new starter) have tried conecting the leads but it wont turn over, did you find the answer to your problem, as like you cant see what could be the problem.
