Hi
Take the removable part out and look down the 'ole. There should be 2 bent tangs, one each side of the barrel, that snap onto the ridge on the removable bit. Bend them inwards a bit with a thin screwdriver - you may consider unhooking the battery for this if you know your radio codes! Try it and see if it helps. Maybe fuses?
Otherwise, consider quitting smoking...

Cigar Lighter come in two sizes, are you trying to light a cigar or use it as an aux to charge phone or sat nav?
mine dont work until i play about with them as they are the larger size. i will consider replacing them for uk size, they dont cost much and are not hard to replace.

True, tis an old post? but I've just got a doblo and the lighter wasn't working, so I came here for advice.
And in the last 12 years no-one else had posted any solution.
My fix worked for me, so I hope it'll help someone else, even if it takes 12 years.
And stopping smoking is a good idea too. Stops you blowing smoke for a start?
