After removing the screws that you mentioned you need to prise the bottom and sides of the panel away so that the plastic plugs come free. I have got that far, but something is still holding the top of the panel in place. ( not the mirror adjuster cover I have removed that.) If you get any further can you post the solution. Cheers

Lever out the switches from the front edge, then undo the bolt. Youve already found the two allen bolts under the handle, remove those. Remove the cross head screw under the door release lever and loosten the one by the mirror adjuster. Then there are white plastic plugs all around the panel which just need to be leavered off with a long screwdriver. Chances are some will pop out of the panel and remain in the door, these need to be pulled out and put back in the pannel before replacing. Watch the metal plate that holds the speakers as it has very sharp edges! Blood everywhere here! Good luck.

Posts: 2 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 ![]() | Re: Doblo front door panel removal help Okay Guys, I have a 2008 facelift model and need to change the speakers in the door panels without breaking anything. So far I have removed, wing adjuster screw, allen behind window switch, both allens under door pull and self tappers (2) inside door pull. Nothing moves, is there anything else I need to undo before I start popping the plastic plugs? The armrest on the facelift appears integral to the panel. Any help appreciated, Thanks. ![]()

Any help would be much apprecieted Thanks ![]() I cant work out or find out how to remove the door panels. Does anyone out there know what to do? There are tweeters on a separate small panel on the door corner which also houses the door mirror switch. Does this pull of somehow? The standard Bluetooth car radio is integrated with the sat nav and steering wheel controls etc, so cannot replace the Head Unit really. But would consider also installing an Amp as well as new speakers. I think the speakers are 13cm. Thinking of installing Alpine speaker kit: ALPINE SPR-13S 5-1/4" (13cm) COMPONENT 2-WAY SPEAKER www .dynamicsounds.co.uk/alpine-spr13s-13cm-component-2way-speaker-p-846.html Any help is welcome.

Posts: 4 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 ![]() | New 2011 Doblo sound system Hy All I am having the same ( a bit deeper ) problem. I want to change ALL and i cannot find any info on how to expose the speakers, tweeter, wiring routes on the NEW Doblo. Everithing i find is for the old one. Also i would gladly accept suggestions for a small enough amp to conceal inside the panels (ie where the jack pouch is) and a small enough SobWoofer to hide as well. Planning a complete Sound makeover. ![]() Thanks Best Regards, Alex

Posts: 1 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 ![]() | ![]() Thanks so much to Johnhififan - the cunningly hidden bolt under the window switches was absolutely crucial! I have added a set of photographs of the removal process on flickr (it turns out that I cannot post links yet since I have only just subscribed which is fair enough - just search on flickr for fiat doblo door removal) I added notes, which pretty much overlap John's comments. I'm not much into DIY/Mechanics so this was a challenge! lol. Even when I had removed all the screws and bolts the door panel still is very much solid, which left me thinking what do I do next?! I found that using a long screwdriver as John had suggested working from the bottom right upwards levering the white plastic plugs out (which by the way until you have most of the door off you cannot see - but I hope my photo record will show the plug mounts to give you an idea where to start. I this helps anyone else with a similar need to remove the door panel! Great forum, thanks all!
