Bought my first Doblo last weekend and im planning spotlights as I live in the wilds of the far NW of Scotland, mainly single track Vdark roads.

what would you guys in the know suggest as the way to go for mounting? Any good points for easyish drilling, or are there any additional brackets available to allow mounting to the grill etc?

Thanks for the reply,
they look vnice lamps. Its very stormy here this weekend but hopefully I can get out and investigate mounting options, just seems a pain with newer cars. Any other opinions welcome :)

To be honest I'm a little surprised that you feel you need extra lights. I've always been impressed with the forward illumination on Mrs_G's Doblo - OK I use the built in front fogs as well but even the standard headlights are some of the best I've ever experienced.

Have you considered using some uprated bulbs. Halfords sell some that give out much more light and yet draw no more power than a standard H7 hulb. I fitted some to my Volvo a couple of months ago and the improvement was very noticeable. Just steer well clear of the bright bulbs sold on ebay, my local garage (MOT station) say that the beam pattern on these can be terrible - I guess the filament isn't in the correct position on these cheap bulbs.

I've mounted some LEDs in the front grille, they are clusters of 22 LEDs and fit perfectly in the grille.
Alternatively, if you don't want to drill too many holes in the body, how about looking on ebay for cheap nudge bars & mounting spots etc on the rails?
Or how about a roof bar with the spots mounted across the front?

Missed the past few replies, my apologies.
Well ive had a look since posting and it doesnt seem so bad for finding mounting for small rectangular spots. Mine doesnt have the fitted frnt fog unfortunately. And as I live where there is no street lighting and the roads are predominantly single track (Im VERY rural) I do need the extra lighting esp this time of year. Would love to see pics of other ppls solutions, esp the LEDs :D
