Hi from a Newbie! I have a 2003 Doblo 1.9JTD. A few days ago the injection failure warning light (or MIL) lit but the car ran fine. Shortly after we were engulfed in clouds of white smoke and a blown head gasket was diagnosed. That's now been replaced and the car runs better than ever. However, the MIL usually lights immediately the engine is started or comes on after a minute or two. The garage have checked the codes and tell me that they relate to turbo boost pressure and something to do with the EGR but they assure me both these components are working OK. They have tried to extinguish the light with their scanner but it won't clear the error codes. Does the system reset itself when the ignition goes off or does it need to be reset by an external unit? If it does reset by itself then could the sensors be damaged by antifreeze/unburnt diesel coming from the engine? If it needs to be reset by an external unit could you please recommend one and tell me where the socket is? Thanks in advance!
