Me too, can anyone recommend one?

There are two guys in the UK who do them. One in the north and one in south. Think the chap I used was Terry something. This is the link. http://howard-may.co.uk

Essentially, its quite harmless. He looks for the wire which pulses with speed (can't remember its proper name), and puts a wire on it. Finds the throttle and puts a lead to that, and then puts in two switches on clutch and brake.

Fits a stalk to the dash, and job done. Took a bit longer on mine because he had never done the latter Doblo and nothing is marked.

As for £500 - its a tad expensive (although it could be cheaper if you look at his site), but it is so worth it. It gets rid of the awful driving position the Doblo seems to have on long runs.

Its the only thing thats made it possible for me to drive single handed 800 miles in a day. If I didn't have cruise I'd be history at the 500 mile mark such is the uncomfortable driving position.

Just completed a 2000 mile round trip to the Med and my average mpg (according to the computer) was 31mpg.
I must admit there were 4 adults and 3 kids and a shed load of luggage in the car, and we were cruising at 130kmh most of the time but still, I had hoped for a little better than that.
I'm sure the mpg was better when it was new.

Maybe that figure is pretty good considering the weight the poor old Doblo had to carry?

What do you reckon?
how did you manage to get loads of luggage in the car aswell as all those people the boot space is rubbish when you have all the seats up ,

i was thinking of getting one of those when i get mine back from the garage ( again ) but i go climbing alot and most of the parking spaces have those hight restriction bars across the enterance and i scrape them with my ariel so a roof box is a big no no
